We're back in a new incarnation, and we're calling all poets who blog! Our Mighty Foursome plans to inspire ourselves and other poets through Wednesday prompts.
Nothing
is moving faster than the wings of this year 2024. We are almost at the tail
end of the year now. Unbelievable!
There’s
a fleeting feeling all around us. Anyone can hear the sound of the passage of
time in everything: the clocks ticking; mirrors speaking; seasons marching.
Being fixed to a time frame and watching this fast pace of life we may wonder
if we have time enough.
Would
we ever pause or slow down a bit? How to do that? Poet says, “Let your life lightly
dance on the edges of Time / like dew on the tip of a leaf.”
March
of Time is today’s theme. Capture Time’s gait in your lines. You might be the
observer or it might be Time itself who has a fixed gaze on you and your
surroundings.
